- The main component of our dressing is a hydrophilic polyurethane foam substrate and silver compound. The Simpurity foam bandages for wounds use silver in their construction.
- The hydrophilic foam is specifically designed to help wounds that drain a lot of fluid, or moist injuries like bedsores.
- The non-stick dressing pads have a conformable construction that keeps the skin around the wound free from irritation or damage. The softness of their material helps to reduce pain.
- The foam wound care dressing is a unique silver ionized foam dressing that has a long lasting antiseptic effect, reduces pain, provides longer wear times and is easy to apply and remove.
- This medical foam padding is recommended for use on pressure ulcers, leg ulcers, diabetic foot ulcers, second-degree burns and post-operative wounds. It can also be used for any wound where protection is needed.
