HSI Emergency Medical Response is designed for non-EMS personnel who need more advanced emergency care training than basic first aid, without becoming licensed EMS providers. This comprehensive course prepares responders to manage out-of-hospital medical emergencies prior to EMS arrival and is a strong fit for law enforcement, security personnel, event staff, workplace emergency response teams, lifeguards, park rangers, CERT members, athletic trainers, outdoor guides, and other non-EMS responders. The program provides deeper training in emergency assessment, patient care, injury and illness response, and responder decision-making.
